Memoria Romana: Memory in Rome and Rome in Memory

The focus of this international conference is to study the role of memory and memorialization in the various areas of Roman culture: art, architecture, literature (including historiography), social history, and religion. Architect Daniel Libeskind will give the keynote address. The conference is part of the multi-year international project “Memoria Romana” directed by Karl Galinsky, RAAR’73, Floyd A. Cailloux Centennial Professor of Classics/University Distinguished Teaching Professor at the University of Texas at Austin, and funded by a Max Planck International Research Award Project.

Sarà l’architetto Daniel Libeskind a impostare i lavori.
