This mini-conference will focus on the last of the great Baroque popes who were patrons of Bernini and Borromini. Papers will explore the historical and intellectual context of this important figure in European history. Contributors will include, among others, Thomas Cerbu, Tommaso Montanari, Ingrid Rowland, and Nicholas Wilding.
