EXHIBITION: Keith Haring

Triangle Garden and Main Entrance - Daily dawn to dusk

For six months beginning January 27, four Keith Haring sculptures will be displayed on the grounds of the American Academy in Rome. Made of painted aluminum and steel, these colorful over-scale figures will be housed in the Triangle Garden and at the Main Entrance to the Academy. They are visible daily from dawn to dusk from via Angelo Masina.

The exhibition brought to the Academy courtesy of Gianni Mercurio, independent curator, and the Estate of Keith Haring comprises:

  • Untitled (Figure on a Baby), 1987, Painted aluminum
  • Julia, 1987, Painted aluminum
  • Untitled (Figure on a Dog), 1986, Painted steel

in the Triangle Garden and in the Academy’s entrance courtyard:

  • Untitled (Ringed Figure), 1987, Painted aluminum.
