Joan Jonas is a pioneer of video and performance art whose work freely crosses the boundaries of conceptual art to theatre to performance, video, digital art, choreography, and collaborations with composers. She will speak on her life and work with reference to her installation in the gallery of the American Academy, Lines in the Sand, 2000.

The exhibition is open Thursdays from 4pm to 7pm and Saturdays from 3pm to 7pm from February 4 until April 15, 2003.
