This is the first exhibition on Georgina Masson, noted historian and biographer, author of classic texts on Italian villas and gardens. Featuring photographs of Italian life and culture from the Photographic Archive of the American Academy in Rome, the exhibition is curated by Alessandra Capodiferro and accompanied by a catalogue, Georgina Masson, 1912-1980, published by Charta, with texts by M. Gendel, C. Vincenti, M. Carracciolo, and E. Helman-Minchilli. This exhibition and catalogue have been made possible by The Howard Gilman Foundation in honor of Ambassador Marcello Guidi. The exhibit will be open on Thursdays from 4pm to 7pm and Saturdays from 3pm to 7pm from April 29 until June 28, 2003.
