A Semi-Cappuccina Tomb in the Garden of the American Academy in Rome Shawna Leigh In May 1999 the gardening staff of the American Academy in Rome uncovered two re-used Roman roof tiles of what a subsequent excavation identified as a semi-cappuccina tomb in the Academy's garden. This report details the circumstances of the grave and its study and provides suggestions for future work in the area.
