Prof. Bruzelius (FAAR'86, RAAR '89), former Director of the Academy and currently Cogan Professor of Art and Art History at Duke University, will speak about the approach of the Mendicant orders to the construction of the churches in the thirteenth century. Her most recent book, The Stones of Naples, is on 13th- and 14th-century church architecture in Naples.
