Festa della Musica Saturday 5 November

Villa Aurelia
This year's Festa della Musica is dedicated to the accordion-a much maligned, but nonetheless extremely versatile and fascinating musical instrument, particularly in the hands of contemporary composers and performers.
As usual the Festa will include a number of different events and musical ensembles scattered throughout the Villa Aurelia and grounds. One of these, a concert by the gifted young Italian virtuoso, Mario Pietrodarchi, will feature new American music for the accordion.
