A presentation of the volume Spain in Italy: Politics, Society, and Religion, 1500-1700, edited by Thomas James Dandelet (FAAR’00) and John A. Marino (Brill, 2006). The nineteen essays provide an analysis of Spanish-Italian cultural relations. The book presents the findings of a conference on the same topic held at the American Academy in Rome in December 2003.
