Paul Bowman, a virtuoso American guitarist living in Berlin, will present a panorama of contemporary guitar works composed over the past 30 years. The program includes works by Elliott Carter (FAAR’53, RAAR’68), Luciano Berio, and Goffredo Petrassi (RAAR’56), as well as by younger composers Alain Michel Riou, Dorothy Hindman, and Charles Norman Mason (Samuel Barber Rome Prize Fellow in Musical Composition, American Academy in Rome).
