The annual spring concert will present works by the 2005-2006 Fellows in Musical Composition, Susan Botti (Frederic A. Juilliard/Walter Damrosch Rome Prize Fellow) and Charles Norman Mason (Samuel Barber Rome Prize Fellow). Susan Botti, also a gifted vocalist, will perform several of her vocal compositions and present sections of a new work for chamber chorus written while in residence this year. Charles Norman Mason will present an overview of his chamber music, highlighting compositions that mix acoustic instruments with pre-recorded sounds.
