American pianist David Northington will present a concert devoted entirely to the works of Aaron Copland (RAAR’51). The program will give a good idea of Copland’s varied styles ranging from his early Cat and the Mouse Scherzo (1920), the Four Piano Blues, and the Variations (1930) through his Piano Sonata (1941).
