The Music of Regret

The Music of Regret, directed by Laurie Simmons (RAAR’05), is a mini-musical in three acts starring Meryl Streep, Adam Guettel, and the Alvin Ailey II dancers. The film grew out of three distinct periods in Simmons’s photographic work. The Music of Regret had its world premiere at the Museum of Modern Art in New York in the spring of 2006.
