The American Academy in Rome, in collaboration with the Fondazione Musica per Roma and the curators of Contemporanea, presents an encounter with the composer Steve Reich. Reich, who will appear in Rome in conjunction with a major festival of his work, will speak about his music and answer questions from the audience. An ensemble of students from the Conservatorio di Musica Licinio Refice of Frosinone will also perform Reich’s Music for Pieces of Wood.
