This procedure includes personal typed memos regarding the questions imposed by the project and the development of a blueprint that indicates not only the emotional shape of the work, but also the architecture of the elements of the piece. At the end of the lecture, a recording of the work will be performed. John Corigliano serves on the faculty at the Juilliard School of Music, is Distinguished Professor of Music at Lehman College, City University of New York, and is Paul Fromm Composer in Residence at the American Academy in Rome.
