A presentation of Encyclopedia of Italian Literary Studies (New York: Routledge, 2007), Gaetana Marrone, General Editor, and Paolo Puppa and Luca Somigli, Editors. This encyclopedia is the first comprehensive English language reference work on Italian literature and culture that offers a synoptic overview of the present state of the field through a wide array of critical essays. Panel participants include: Liliana Cavani, Film Director; Carmela Vircillo Franklin, FAAR’85, RAAR’02, Director of the American Academy in Rome; Walter Geerts, Director of the Belgian Academy; Gaetana Marrone, Princeton University; Paolo Puppa, Università di Venezia; and Gianni Riotta, Director of Tg1. Presentations will be in Italian and English.
