In collaboration with the Ufficio Studi,
Ministero per i Beni e le Attivitą
Culturali, the American Academy in
Rome presents Ville e giardini italiani: i
disegni di architetti e paesaggisti
dell'American Academy in Rome, by
Vincenzo Cazzato. This volume is the
first systematic study of the work of the
Academy's Fellows in Landscape
Architecture and their valuable
documentation of historic Italian
gardens. It includes additional essays by
six authors, a catalog of drawings, and
illustrations from the collections of the
Photographic Archive.
The
presentation will be in Italian and
English. Speakers will include
Margherita Azzi Visentini, Marcello
Fagiolo, Mary Margaret Jones
FAAR'98, and Annalisa Maniglio
Calcagno.
