This year's 40th Nuova Consonanza Festival is dedicated to improvised and aleatoric music. The five-hour event will include three concerts, a buffet and a series of improvisations that will be performed throughout the Villa Aurelia during interludes between the concerts. Music will include improvisations by solo performers (among others Massimo Coen, Eugenio Colombo, Sabina Meyer, Benni Penazzi and Paolo Ravaglia) and Roman improvisation groups such as Alquima, Aleanova and the Gruppo Jazz Mazzoni.
