Lecture Room In collaboration with curator and critic Stefania Mischetti, the Academy presents Natural Selection: Michele Oka Doner, a book just published by Hudson Hills Press with a foreword by Mitchell Wolfson, Jr., and essays by Suzanne Ramljak, Morris Lapidus, and Arthur C. Danto.
Michele Oka Doner is an internationally recognized artist whose work includes sculpture, furniture, jewelry, functional objects and public art projects. The book acknowledges four decades of the artist's work. Participants will include Maria Pignatelli, Ambassador Antonio Puri Purini and Achille Bonito Oliva.
