Lecture Room Lee Hyla (FAAR'91) has been the recipient of numerous awards and honors including a Guggenheim Fellowship, the Stoeger Prize and the Rome Prize. Recent commissions have come from ensembles as diverse as The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center and the Kitchen House Blend. He is currently Chair of the Composition Department at the New England Conservatory of Music and Paul Fromm Composer-in-Residence at the American Academy in Rome. He will be discussing and playing examples of his recent chamber and orchestral work.
