John Kamitsuka, celebrated American
pianist, performs regularly throughout
the United States, South America,
Europe and Japan. For this occasion he
will play works by Johann Sebastian
Bach, Ludwig van Beethoven, Johannes
Brahms, and Yehudi Wyner
(FAAR'56).
This special summer
concert honors the memory of Linda
Bettman, art historian and devotee of
classical music. The public is also
invited to the dedication, at 6 pm, of
the Linda Bettman Reading Room in
the Library (via the main entrance of
the Academy at Via Angelo Masina, 5)
and to a reception in the Bass Garden
before the concert.
