For the annual lecture of the International Union of Institutes of Archaeology, History, and Art History in Rome, Alexander Murray, Fellow of University College, Oxford and author of such major works as Reason and Society in the Middle Ages and Suicide in the Middle Ages, will speak on changing theological and iconographic interpretations of St. Thomas the Apostle in the later medieval centuries.
