Villa Aurelia One of the Academy's most pleasant musical traditions is the opportunity to host Nuova Consonanza's opening festa - a suite of concerts, installations and events extending from afternoon through evening utilizing the Villa Aurelia and grounds in a spectacular way. The theme this year is Memory - musical memory, but also visual, and even gastronomic, memory. Performances begin with 'classic' aleatoric chamber works by Sylvano Bussotti and Domenico Guacero, followed by a series of solo concerts for piano, clarinet, contrabass, saxophone, violin and percussion. Featured are well-known Italian virtuosi. The evening will conclude with a performance of Yankele nel ghetto by Klezroym in commemoration of the 61st anniversary of the deportation of the Jews from Rome (16.10.1943).
