Jordi Principal proposes a cultural approach to ceramics (mainly imported Campanian fine wares) as exemplified by the dynamics of acquisition and consumption in the native communities of the northeastern Iberian Peninsula during the Late Hellenistic period. He will discuss production, function, socio-cultural connotations, reception and interaction with Roman patterns. Jordi Principal works at the Institut Català d'Arqueologia Clàssica.
