Participant Information Application Deadline 3 March 2003 Eligibility The Classical Summer School is open to graduate students (and mature undergraduates) of Classics, ancient history, Classical art or Classical archaeology; and to middle school, high school, and two-year college teachers, a significant component of whose teaching involves Latin, ancient Greek or Classical civilization. Preference will be given to those who have a Master's degree in one of these areas and have not studied previously in Italy. Tuition $1,400. Tuition plus fees, room and board will total approximately $4,600, excluding round-trip airfare and personal expenses. Award amounts may range from $50 to over $4,800, and deadlines for scholarship applications range from Fall 2002 to Spring 2003.
