Art historian Catherine Fruhan died on November 20, 2015 in Indiana.

Catherine Fruhan, 67, died suddenly on campus at De Pauw University in Greencastle, Indiana where she taught art history and art for more than 30 years. Fruhan was the first art historian hired at DePauw and built the program there from scratch. She traveled to Rome every summer and was well known in the Academy community. Her campus colleagues remember her in a tribute published by the University.
