Giulia Colletti (2026 Italian Fellow in Curatorial Research - sponsored by the Italian Ministry of Culture) will organize a multimedia event at Onassis ONX in New York as part of her fellowship, building on her Academy research into fragmented digital ecosystems shaped by generative AI, often described as "AI slop" or digital sludge.

Giulia Colletti is a curator whose work explores technological imaginaries. She is the 2026 Italian Fellow for Curatorial Research and Advancement of Italian and International Contemporary Art at the American Academy in Rome, sponsored by the Directorate-General for Contemporary Creativity of the Italian Ministry of Culture. In 2025, she was the co-curator of the 5th Industrial Art Biennial, The Vast Automaton, supported by the Italian Council. Her essays and reviews have been featured in museum catalogues and published by OnCurating, CURA., Flash Art, Mousse, and e-flux, among others.
