Netta Yerushalmy is a New York-based dance artist whose work explores perception itself, aiming to make audiences feel things as they are sensed rather than as they are already understood, and questioning how meaning gets made and assigned. 

Her choreography has earned major recognition, including a Guggenheim Fellowship, a USA Artists Fellowship, a Princeton Arts Fellowship, and fellowships from the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts and the Center for Ballet and the Arts at NYU, among many others. Her work has been commissioned and presented widely, at venues including the Joyce Theater, Jacob's Pillow, American Dance Festival, New York Live Arts, and HAU Hebbel am Ufer in Berlin, and supported by institutions such as the Baryshnikov Arts Center, Movement Research, and Jacob's Pillow Lab. 

She works fluidly across disciplines, having contributed choreography to a Red Hot Chili Peppers music video and to artist Josiah McElheny's Prismatic Park, and collaborated with cellist Maya Beiser and composer Julia Wolfe (2025 Resident) on Spinning. She has taught and made work as a guest artist at institutions including Juilliard, NYU Tisch, Princeton, and the American Dance Festival, and has performed with companies including Pam Tanowitz Dance and Doug Varone and Dancers. 

In 2026, she was an invited contributor to the private seminar at the American Academy in Rome's Galileo Week, Conservation and the Brain: A Collaboration on Remembering Through Things.
