The AHR is the official publication of the American Historical Association (AHA). The AHR, founded in 1884, publishes in all fields of historical research, across time and space. The AHR also publishes book reviews, surveying and reporting the most important contemporary historical scholarship in the discipline. Click here to access the more recent issues (to v.129 (2024), AAR only). The issues prior to 1996 are also available via JSTOR (AAR only, with moving wall).
