Annalisa Metta – A Matter of Bodies and Atmosphere

Annalisa Metta - A Matter of Bodies and Atmosphere

This talk looks at public space in the contemporary city from two points of view: that of peoples’ presence, actions, and bodies as space agency (what I usually call “architecture of behavior”); and that of intangible materials (connected to what we call weather). How can they work to restore enchantment to the public space and ritualize, again, the city

Annalisa Metta is the Enel Italian Fellow in Architecture/Landscape Architecture at the American Academy in Rome and is assistant professor in landscape architecture in the Department of Architecture at Roma Tre University.

The shoptalk will be held in English. You can watch it live at https://livestream.com/aarome.
