In the exhibition Visual Diary at the Galleria d’Arte Moderna, the artist Liana Miuccio continues her ongoing study of identity, memory, and migration through the juxtaposition of her photographs and videos with excerpts of text by the Pulitzer Prize–winning writer Jhumpa Lahiri (2013 Resident).

The Wall Street Journal Magazine (2022 Fellow). A simultaneous interpreter will be present.

The opening of the exhibition will follow the conversation, from 7:00 to 9:00pm. Visual Diary will be on view to the public from November 18, 2022 to March 12, 2023, at the Galleria d’Arte Moderna. The exhibition is sponsored by the American Academy in Rome and Temple University Rome.
