"Greater New York"

African American Flag by David Hammons, FAAR 1990 is flying over PS1 in Long Island City as part of "Greater New York," an exhibition that appears every five years as a collaboration between PS 1 and MoMA. This is the the 4th iteration of the show that has historically emphasized emerging artists. This year established artists are included. Other Academy artists in the show are Mel Bochner, RAAR 1992, Abigail Child, FAAR 2010, Robert Moskowitz, RAAR 2002, Judith Shea, FAAR 1995, and Charles Simonds, RAAR 1986.
