A new volume, A Difficult Heritage: The Afterlives of Fascist-Era Art and Architecture (Silvana Editoriale), edited by 2019 Fellow Carmen Belmonte, has its source in a 2019 conference supported by AAR’s Fellows’ Project Fund.

The visual artist Khaled Sabsabi has been awarded the Mordant Family and Creative Australia Affiliated Fellowship, granting him a two-month residency at the American Academy in Rome during the 2024–25 academic year.
